There were some very strong submissions among our top ten finalists. As a result, our team needs more time to come to a consensus. For the ten finalists patiently waiting, we apologize for the delay.

Attached to this project so far:

	Karl Shefelman - director
	Karl is an award-winning director with several shorts and numerous commercials and music videos under his belt. He brings his vast experience as a storyboard artist on such films as "American Gangster","The Departed", and "Silence of the Lambs" where he worked one-on-one with such directors as Ridley Scott, Martin Scorcese, and Jonathan Demme.
	Brenda Strong - lead
	Actress Brenda Strong who plays the character Mary Alice Young and is the Voice of the hit show "Desperate Housewives" will play the lead in Pavaline's winning Environment short film. Brenda has guest starred in nearly 100 television shows with recurring roles on "7th Heaven", "Everwood" and Party of Five, etc. Brenda is an ardent advocate for protecting the environment which makes her the perfect lead for our winning short. We are looking forward to reading scripts written with Brenda in mind. Pavaline's development team together with Brenda will select the best submission.

Grand Prize Winners!

You will have your film produced!

You will receive $500.

We will fly you to New York to attend pre-production meetings.

You will be on location as the writer for the entire shoot. Airfare and accommodations will be provided by Pavaline Studios.

You will receive a Pro Membership upgrade for one full year ($100 Value).

2nd and 3rd Place

You will receive $500.

We will option your script for 18 months for development and possible production.

You will receive a Pro Membership upgrade for one full year ($100 Value).

You will receive a Pro Membership upgrade for one full year ($100 Value).

Grand Prize:
The Grand Prize winner will have his/her film produced by Pavaline. The writer will receive a cash payment in the amount of US$500, and be credited as screenwriter. Upon acceptance of this prize, Pavaline will own the script and have the right to copyright and produce it into a film. Pavaline reserves the right to ask for further development, and to make all final decisions regarding the budget, casting, attachments, marketing, distribution, as well as any other decisions connected with producing and exploiting the film. In addition, Pavaline will award airfare up to US$500 (based on average fares within the continental United States) to fly the Grand Prize winner to New York and will provide standard hotel accommodations and expenses for up to three (3) days in New York for the writer to participate in development/pre-production meetings. At the time of the shoot, Pavaline will fly the winner to the shoot location (at a cap of US$500) and provide accommodations and expenses for the length of the shoot, which shall be approximately 5 days. Grand Prize winner will also receive: A free Annual Pro Membership to the Pavaline Network (US$100 value)

Second and Third Place:
US$500 cash prize A free Annual Pro Membership to the Pavaline Network (US$100 value) Upon your acceptance of this prize, Pavaline has an option of the Material at no additional fee for up to 18 months for further development and/or possible production.
